So, there you have it folks. We have all been deputized. We have been given the “authority” by the “powers that be” to act and hold these thugs accountable for ruining the futures of our youth for generations to come.
Going along a similar route of the s-chip program and nat’l health care to increase taxes on tobacco to pay for health care; the transportation and infrastructure committee has come up with a way to pay for their new high speed rail system that would only serve a minuscule of a fraction of the public:
Petra Todorovich, a director with the Regional Planning Association, said motorists around the nation will have to pay higher gasoline taxes. She recommended starting with a 10 cents per gallon increase that would be indexed to inflation.
Her organization is focused on New York, New Jersey and Connecticut but has a crafted a national infrastructure proposal.
I can’t wait to hear what they come up with to implement their “Green” programs.
AP ( Washington): A congressionally backed panel said Friday that religious freedoms were deteriorating in Russia, Turkey and four other nations that were added to a watch list of countries where people’s rights to worship as they please or not to worship at all are at risk…
Besides Russia and NATO-member Turkey, the commission added to the watch list Laos, Somalia, Tajikistan and Venezuela. They joined Afghanistan, Belarus, Cuba and Egypt, already on the list.
Countries are placed on the watch list or the more serious “countries of particular concern” list because their governments either discriminate against people for religious reasons or are unwilling or unable to stop religious violence by their citizens.
The commission used the report to ask the Obama administration at least to “give due consideration” whether to abide by a law that requires the ambassador-at-large for international religious freedom be a “principal adviser to the president and the secretary of state regarding matters affecting religious freedom.”
Today is the “Infamous” 100th day mark of the new administration, and the fact that today the House of Representatives will be voting on crucial “hate-crime/kill any speech that promotes morality” legislation the the new administration supports, I find myself wondering what kind of future our country has? What kind of precident are we setting for the generations to come?
During the 1940s, my family lived in North Philadelphia’s Richard Allen housing project. Many families didn’t lock doors until late at night, if ever. No one ever thought of installing bars on their windows. Hot, humid summer nights found many people sleeping outside on balconies or lawn chairs. Starting in the ’60s and ’70s, doing the same in some neighborhoods would have been tantamount to committing suicide. Keep in mind that the 1940s and ’50s were a time of gross racial discrimination, high black poverty and few opportunities compared to today. The fact that black neighborhoods were far more civilized at that time should give pause to the excuses of today that blames today’s pathology on poverty and discrimination.
Policemen and laws can never replace customs, traditions and moral values as a means for regulating human behavior. At best, the police and criminal justice system are the last desperate line of defense for a civilized society. Our increased reliance on laws to regulate behavior is a measure of how uncivilized we’ve become.

It’s a short, but to the point and hits the nail on the head as to where this country is going if we continue to let the pregressive statists ramrod their agenda down our throats while Christian Conservatives sit back thinking that prayer is the only answer.
Prayer is the 1st step, but God is not going to fix this himself. It is through us that his work is done. It’s time for ALL Christian Conservatives to get off the porch and get out into their communities and actively stand up against the progressive statists. They are going after our youth, and we must meet them head to head to insure that our youth and future generations are educated with the truth, not the propaganda that is tearing this great Constitutional Republic to shreads.

The Obama Administration Currently Has No Plan to Close the Border–
The Center for Disease Control and Prevention announced today that it is already too late to contain the swine flu outbreak in the US. Alert.net reported:
The U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention said on Friday it was too late to contain the swine flu outbreak in the United States.
CDC acting director Dr. Richard Besser told reporters in a telephone briefing it was likely too late to try to contain the outbreak, by vaccinating, treating or isolating people.
“There are things that we see that suggest that containment is not very likely,” he said.
At least 8 cases of H1N1 have been identified in California and Texas.
It’s not like some that don’t like America very much haven’t thought of using Mexico to launch the attack or use the lax border security to sneak it in…and the fact that a congressional panel has been discussing this heavily and have information that was released in Dec 2008 that the threat is very real and not far off. Now we have a threat that there is no vaccine for? This is all too suspect to one who has done as much research as I have.

What are they hiding?

About that statement, there is no dispute. Despite dozens of lawsuits, with plaintiffs including a former presidential candidate, a former deputy attorney general, many legislators, active-duty U.S. military and other serious people, Obama simply refuses to release his original, long-form birth certificate. That’s the one that could actually prove he was born in Hawaii. What is posted on Obama’s ‘Fight the Smears’ website as well as the FactCheck.org website is the abbreviated short-form ‘certification of live birth’ that could have been issued for a child born overseas, and thus does not prove he was born in Hawaii. What is so difficult about this to understand?”
And while some of the many lawsuits challenging Obama on this issue have reached the eyes of U.S. Supreme Court justices, at least one former state Supreme Court chief justice – Alabama’s Roy Moore – now says the Obama eligibility issue should be adjudicated: “Why doesn’t the president have to show that he’s a natural born citizen? … We’ve had all kinds of suits filed, and the press doesn’t mention them and the courts continually reject them. … It’s troubling to me because we’ll suffer the consequences if we ignore our Constitution.”

The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) report entitled “Rightwing Extremism: Current Economic and Political Climate Fueling Resurgence in Radicalization and Recruitment”, dated April 7, 2009, which I have read, is apparently an unclassified summary of a larger classified report.
1. The summary contains few proper names, has no footnotes of any significance, lists very few sources, and is drafted with a prejudice against anyone who criticizes the role of the federal government in our lives today. It lumps together in its definition of “rightwing extremism” hate groups, anti-government groups, and single issue groups “such as opposition to abortion or immigration.”
Says Judge Andrew Napolitano:“My guess is that the sentiments revealed in the report I read are the tip of an iceberg that the DHS would prefer to keep submerged until it needs to reveal it. This iceberg is the heavy-hand of government; a government with large and awful eyes, in whose heart there is no love for freedom, and on whose face there is no smile.
South Dakota elected representatives should take a lesson from Texas. When they took their oath of office, 1st and foremost, they pledged to uphold the Constitution of the United States. A Constitution founded to limit the federal government, lest it become too big and infringe on human rights while invoking tyranny on it’s people.
SD, HCR 1013 is the SD resolution proclaiming on record to Washington that SD is a sovereign state and what the Constitution does not limit it, or what it did not give to the federal government, remains with the states and the people. It is now on Gov Rounds desk awaiting his signature. What’s the wait? Why is this being slid in the back door?
This is a “great lesson” in history. The fact that our state and local media are not covering this is repulsive. Our elected reps should be standing up and shouting out making our voices be heard. I did a search of the tv news media and the Argus Leader and the only coverage of this was by a local concerned citizen who wrote a letter to the editor. How sad this truly is.
SD elected officials have become passive and submissive to Washington and it is time they get some backbone and start coming out from behind those capital doors and representing the great people of South Dakota and speaking out on issues as important as this one.
