A Time for Choosing, also known as “The Speech”, was presented on a number of speaking occasions during the 1964. It is 28 min long and worth every minute of EVERY Americans Life to hear.
Even though Kennedy was a Democrat, JFK atleast knew that “We the People” should always be put before government ambitions and it is obvious in this speech that Ronald Reagan, “The Gipper”, was campaigning to make sure JFK’s legacy & the dreams of the American people he spoke so often of, and worked so diligently to protect from BIG government, would continue to flourish. Too bad we lost those years and we now stand to loose even more if we do not diligently work to constrain this 111th Congress and the Obama administration.
